Following hot on the heels of being officially voted the best mixed use development in the country winning Gold at the What House? Awards, Wolverton Park has just won Modern Railway Restoration Award at the National Railway Heritage Awards for 2009 for its superb restoration of the Grade II listed Royal Train Shed.

As part of his community consultation engagement, artist Martin Heron, who has been appointed by developer, Places for People and Milton Keynes Council's Arts Unit to create the public works of art for Wolverton Park, has been spending time with some of the citys young artists. Martin aims to create a public artwork that brings communities and generations together to celebrate the history of Wolverton Park , the new development incorporating historic Grade II listed railway buildings.
